Went to see Dr. Hahn to have him do x-rays and check out Laurens incision and stitches. The incision looked real good with the exception of some fracture blisters ( These are areas of the skin that bubble and arise where there is a marked amount of swollen skin). Dr. Hahn contemplated putting Lauren back into a hard cast But opted to let Lauren start PT and watch the area for another week. Here are a couple of X-rays of Lauren's leg after the amputation. Notice the bottom of the amputation where the Fibula and tibia bones have a bridge to connect them And the screw to secure them. This is the Ertl procedure.

Front view. The staple at the knee was from a previous surgery that Lauren had done to correct her knocked knees.
